Retro Signs, Fresno

Over the last year I have worked on a series shooting pics of retro signs that testify to a different era. One day while driving through my home town of Fresno I passed a sign that brought back lots of memories from my childhood. I snapped a photo and posted it on Facebook. A flood of responses from old friends quickly followed. The photo also brought back many memories. Thus far I have shot over 30 retro signs in and around the Fresno area. A few months back I started a series on Bay Area retro signs and put together a Central Coast retro poster.

I believe this was the first, or one of the first, images I posted that started my series on retro signs. Hanoian's is now closed. On Fresno's east side, I remember my mom taking me here when I was very little.   Below are more retro signs from Fresno
